Happy New Year!

2008 is done, so on to 2009.  What a year!  We accomplished the major goal of getting the bakery up and running, but it was a lot more work than I imagined.  It’s still nice to see a dream come to fruition.  The bakery is not exactly the way I’d like it (and probably never will be), but we’re able to turn out some really nice products.  Unfortunately, our consistency hasn’t been good enough.  That will be our focus now that we are done careening from one holiday to the next.  Thank you for your feedback, support and patience.

We are open today.  We’re here mainly to do some wholesale orders and because we’d need to do some work for tomorrow.  I’m not expecting a lot of sales so we didn’t bake much.  I’m also hoping to catch up on bookkeeping that sort of thing.  Please stop by if you are in the area.  We’ll have baguettes, ciabatta, rye, cracked and a few sourdoughs.  Scones, cookies, croissants.  Most of the usual things.
